Got a call from someone with a thick foreign accent claiming to be from BT, saying there was an issue with my internet. When I told him I wasn’t even a BT customer and shared how hard it usually is to get any help when my internet acts up, he didn’t sound very happy. I also told him straight up I thought he was trying to scam me. After that, he warned me my internet would be cut off in a month and hung up. Pretty obvious it was a dodgy call.
