01945580407 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 01945580407 👆 is reported as a persistent nuisance caller often associated with an Indian-accented individual claiming to represent a UK-based company, but likely a scam operation. Calls typically involve silence, hang-ups, or harassment when personal questions are declined. Despite being on the Telephone Preference Service, many users still receive these calls, which appear to originate internationally and are routed through UK numbers. Victims experience repeated calls, often early in the morning, with no meaningful interaction. Blocking the number and using answered call machines are common defensive measures. Reporting to appropriate bodies is advised, though enforcement appears limited. Users are urged to remain vigilant and cautious, as this appears to be a sophisticated scam targeting vulnerable individuals.

A few weeks back, my elderly mum got a call from a bloke who sounded Indian. She’s used to annoying calls from him daily, but sadly I never saved the number before. Luckily, I was around to pick up this time, and the guy claimed he was from UK Preference. I made it clear both my mum and I weren’t interested in whatever he was selling. I only just got round to checking the number today, and it’s definitely not linked to UK Preference. Be careful, folks - seems like a scammer trying to trick people.

i’m really happy i got the bt 8500 set up. these dodgy callers never seem to say who they are which is perfect cos i dont want to talk to them anyway. ive already blocked their current number. i bet they’ll just switch to a different number though. seems like no one with authority is willing to do anything to shut these ### down. why is that?

got a call from this number at 8:54am. didnt pick up so their answering machine came on with a weird message, something like "the other person has cleared". couldnt get anything else outta it, so i just looked the number up and decided to drop a quick note here. honestly, if you’re gonna call folks, get a proper answerphone sorted!

I got a couple of calls from this bloke named "John" who sounded Indian, kept bugging me. When I didn't feel like answering his three personal questions, he just told me to "f##k off." Can anyone tell me how to report this number to someone in charge who might actually take action against this sort of bother?

This number has been ringing me loads, just got a call from them at 8.30 this morning! So fed up with it, especially since I’m registered with the so-called preference service. I don’t answer unknown callers, so it just goes straight to my ansaphone.

This morning around 08:38 I got a call from this number but there was complete silence on the other end. When I called back, it just said the number wasn't valid or couldn't be found. Strange!

I received a call earlier, but as soon as the voicemail kicked in, the caller abruptly disconnected. I tried to return the call, but the number turned out to be unrecognised... Now it's sitting in our blocked calls list!

Got these annoying calls non-stop, it's really frustrating.

I'm curious to understand the reasoning behind the statement that "you won't be able to report the call to TPS if you respond with a yes." This call seems to originate from a BT number, so I'm wondering how that works.

I had a couple of silent rings earlier today, which really got my goat. It feels like the issue with these annoying calls that don't even bother to say anything is just getting more frustrating.
