Back in February, I got a call and the only thing I could hear was this really loud breathing. It was super weird.

I got a call from a bloke speaking with an Indian accent claiming he was calling on behalf of British Gas Lite. He told me our meter wasn’t sending readings properly and wanted me to confirm the NPR number found on our bills. When I asked him a couple of questions, he started to sound annoyed and I could hear someone in the background telling him what to say next. Something about it felt off, and I didn’t believe he was genuinely from British Gas Lite.
