5 monthsWe got a call from this number earlier today, but it just went straight to voicemail. Of course, no message was left - classic scammer behaviour, really.6 monthsI got a call from a woman who hardly spoke any English at all. She kept asking if she was speaking to my husband - who’s been dead for more than three years now. I’m his wife, by the way. Then she totally butchered the name of our street and tried to get me to give my date of birth. She claimed it was some kind of compensation linked to mortgage payments we made, even though we cleared our mortgage over two decades ago. It was pretty clear she just wanted to scam me for my personal info. When I refused to tell her my DOB, she just ended the call.6 monthsTotal scam, they were just fishing for my personal details.6 monthsI got a call from 01945 300394, but the person was speaking really broken English and it was quite hard to get what they were saying. They asked about which part of the house needed fixing so I mentioned the bathroom since we're expecting a plumber to come for a dodgy tap. After that, the message was unclear but they did say something about an appointment, so maybe it was legit? Though it does seem odd because we’re based in Yorkshire and usually any company contacts us on our mobile phones. My phone actually flagged it as a potential scam.Yorkshire6 monthsGot a call and it turned out to be a scam, so watch out and never share your private details. I looked it up and found out it’s linked to a scam call centre based in India.IndiaSubmit Your Own Report (01945 300394)
