Received a call from someone purporting to be from BT, insisting they needed to terminate my internet service for a couple of months due to some error signals they were apparently receiving. When I tried to clarify, they accused me of being sarcastic! That was enough for me to end the conversation.

I'm receiving constant calls from an unsolicited number, 01944370049. To make matters worse, I happen to be employed by Citizens Advice, and I've registered my mobile with the Telephone Preference Service.

I received a call on my mobile this evening just before 8 o'clock. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch it in time, so it turned out to be a missed call. To add to my suspicion, there was no voicemail left, which makes me think it’s not a genuine caller at all.
