I asked to talk with the owner of the business, but he wouldn’t say what he needed or which company he was from. He sounded quite polite, but when I didn’t give him the owner’s name or connect him, he just ended the call.

Got a call today from 43 718 989, some bloke claiming he was Mick from BSP wanting to talk to the owner. I told him the owner wouldn't be back until Friday, and he said he'd ring again. When he asked me for the owner's name, I wasn’t comfortable sharing it with someone I didn’t know on the phone, so I said no.

these calls are back again now. some bloke keeps asking for the business owner, and i told him he was tied up. asked if i could take a message. he said it’s about business rates valuation and he'll call again next week. no thanks from me though, just gonna block it.

Some bloke phoned looking for the business owner, but when I told him my boss was tied up he said he’d ring back later. I’m guessing it’s one of those deals about business rates valuations like the notes I’ve seen before. Honestly, don’t waste your time - just check with your local council directly to find out about any reliefs, it won’t cost you a penny.

this lady called asking for the business owner. i asked her what the call was about. she mentioned something to do with local businesses? i was like, what about local businesses exactly? she said they had folks around here doing valuations. i asked what kind of valuations and if it was anything we might want. felt like pulling teeth getting info out of her. i just said no thanks and ended the call. she was polite but really wasn’t clear about what she wanted.

We got a call from 01943718989 today, they were trying to sell some sort of rate review for business properties. When we asked questions, the person sounded pretty unsure and dodgy, definitely felt like they weren’t telling the truth.
