Got a call from some woman abroad claiming I was entitled to £2500. She then asked for my birth date, which made me suspicious. Total scammer, no doubt.

I've been with BT for six years now, and just recently, I had some chap trying to persuade me to change my provider. I figured this was a bit of a bother, so I opted to end the call rather than entertain his sales pitch.

yesterday i got loads of calls from this same area code and i ended up talking to some pretty rude folks. they really didn’t get the hint when i said no thanks and started getting a bit nasty once i kept telling them i wasn’t interested. my number is on the tps list, so isn’t this supposed to be illegal?

i got a call from someone trying to make me rethink switching to a different provider (bt). Since id already agreed to the switch, i found the call pretty annoying and a bit intrusive, especially the pushy way they spoke to me. i’ve been loyal to ee for broadband for ages, but after that call, i’m honestly putting them right out of the picture. honestly, companies need to show a bit more respect for us older folks, especially now when life’s already tough enough. these pushy marketing calls are the last thing we need.

i played along with the call acting like i was interested till a ‘supervisor’ came on and actually called me by my first name. thats when i let rip with a barrage of swear words - all the f and c ones you can think of. weirdly it works every time, they back off pretty quick. its oddly satisfying too, i reckon everyone should try it.
