I recently received a call from someone with an accent that seemed Indian, purporting to be representing the telephone preference service. I’ve had a similar experience in the past. It’s blatantly a scam, aimed at fishing for personal information. Best to steer clear of these calls!

This caller purported to be from the Telephone Preference Service, yet they were insistent on having me verify details regarding a direct debit for my phone bill. Their accent suggested they were from India.

I received a call today, the 14th of March, from the number 01937028050, claiming to represent the Telephone Preference Service. Not entirely sure if it was legitimate or not, but they ended the call abruptly. Quite curious!

Received a call from an outfit claiming to be associated with Telephone Preference Management, but definitely not the official TPS. They wanted me to verify all my personal details. I didn't share a thing with them. Clearly a scam! The number was 01937028050.

They said they could help me block all those pesky calls from dodgy Indian call centres, but only if I provided them with a number of personal details. It all seemed a bit fishy, to be honest!

This number has been ringing me incessantly — five times a day for the past week! I've kindly requested multiple times that they cease calling, yet here I am, just getting off the phone again and they keep phoning back. Quite extraordinary, really!

I've had a right nuisance with these callers, as they’ve reached out to me thrice now, each time from a different number. I've managed to block every one of them! They keep claiming to be from the Telephone Preference Service. It's rather irritating, to say the least!

I received a call from Guaranteed Telecom, claiming to be working with the Telephone Preference Service. They said they could stop all those pesky calls if I just verify some of my personal information.

I received a call from this number, but when I picked up, there was no response. I've reported it to BT, and they're looking into the matter. Fingers crossed they get to the bottom of it! .227
