Pretty much like what others have mentioned, I got a call from someone pretending to be from TalkTalk instead of BT. I wasn't exactly polite, to say the least! Funny thing is, they kept trying to call me again and even started cursing at me. Honestly, so frustrating!

Just like others here, I got a call from someone who said they were with BT. But mine was a bit different - they said they were from TalkTalk instead. I wasn’t exactly polite to them, to be honest! And get this, they kept calling me back and started swearing at me too, which was just mad!

This number, along with another one, called me claiming to be from BT Openreach saying there was an issue with my internet. The initial call I quickly said I was fine with my service and ended the call because I really can’t stand those sorts of calls. When they called again, I listened for a bit longer until the woman told me to be sat in front of my computer. That was the moment I just hung up once more. It’s crazy how they manage to keep doing this without any consequences!

Got a call today, 25th July, from this number saying they were with BT Openreach. We actually use a different company so I just hung up. I’ve reported it to www.actionfraud.police.uk - hopefully they can track these scammers down.

Got a call from a bloke with a thick accent saying he was from Open Reach and had issues with my internet speed. He told me to check my computer. When I asked who sent him about the problem, he just mumbled something and hung up on me.

This number rang my wife earlier, saying they were from BTOPENREACH and asking questions about our internet. Since we're signed up to the Telephone Preference Service, my wife asked if it was a cold call or something to do with a fault. Instead of answering, the person suddenly shouted "SHUT UP!" and then just ended the call. Proper nerve, right? She didn’t even get a moment to tell them to get lost!

Today I got a phone call from a bloke with an Asian accent claiming to be from BT Openreach, saying they were following up on my slow internet. Since I constantly moan about my broadband in this rural spot, I was a bit wary because I hadn't heard anything from my actual provider about any fixes. He asked me to open Windows and punch in a code. I politely told him thanks but no thanks, saying I wouldn’t fiddle with my PC without double-checking with my provider first to make sure the call was legit. He started to push hard at that point, so I just hung up.

Just for laughs, asked ten times which website was loading slow on his end, told him my internet was rubbish and slow. He goes on about seeing me lie on his screen, then called me a stupid slag! I said cheers and let him know he was a total C U next Tuesday. Wished his house got flooded with sewage in the next rainstorm. Before I could even explain my broadband was the problem properly, he just hung up on me!

Received a call through a U.K. number from what seemed like a poor quality call abroad. The person on the line was asking about Internet service. As soon as I questioned them, they hung up straight away.

So, I got a call from a guy who claimed to be with BT Openreach. He started off talking about my internet and then randomly asked how I was doing this morning. I told him I was alright, but before I could ask anything else, he muttered something in a language I didn’t understand and then just ended the call. Definitely seems like a scam to me.

Got a call earlier from someone claiming to be with Openreach about my broadband. The guy sounded Asian and his accent was pretty tough to catch. I told him straight up I didn't trust the call and that BT would never be popping up asking to get into my computer. I then said if he was real he could drop me an email, and warned that if he rang again I'd be reporting him.

Got a call from a lady who sounded like she was either Filipino or Indian, saying she was with "BT Internet, Openreach". I just ended the call straight away. Been told before this is one of those scams. They try to lure you in with promises of faster broadband and get you to install some app that lets them access your computer. Also had a bunch of calls from people saying they're from BT, threatening to disconnect our landline. We actually use TalkTalk, so it's clearly not legit. Don’t fall for it!

On the 25th of July 2018, around 1 in the afternoon, I got a call from this number. Since my phone number isn’t listed anywhere (EX DIRECTORY), I’m really worried about how these impolite and disrespectful people managed to get hold of it. It feels like an invasion of my privacy, especially as I’m a pensioner. I really don’t appreciate being bombarded with nonsense like scam calls or whatever you want to call them, it’s just wrong and disrespectful.

Got a call from someone with an Asian accent claiming there was an issue reported by BT about my internet. Seems dodgy to me, since I've never had BT call me about problems before - it's normally me having to ring them up! Feels like a classic scam to me.

I've been getting nonstop calls from these muppets (loads of them don’t even speak proper English) saying they're from Openreach. I got fed up pretending to listen, and the last bloke actually started getting rude. Best thing to do is just put the phone down, as they'll try to direct you to dodgy websites that could mess up your PC.

Got a call from someone saying they were with BT, telling me there was a problem with our internet speed (which has been a bit slow lately). I said we’re with TalkTalk and they insisted that all broadband problems in the UK get reported to them. Then they asked me to run a speed test and wanted me to put some remote access software on my computer. I said absolutely not, and they started getting rude, so I just ended the call. Total scam, watch out!

Just got a call from a lady with an Indian accent, saying she was from BT and that there was an issue with my computer. I told her I don’t own one, which seemed to throw her off. She ended up just hanging up on me.

Received a call claiming to be from BT about my internet problems, so I played along since I've been having issues. They directed me to a site that looked like a genuine speed test, but then wanted me to install some remote desktop software, which I declined. After that, they passed me onto a "manager" who tried to convince me they were genuine by giving me a supposed 'router number.' Turns out it was actually a generic 'ZFSendToTarget' code that's the same on every PC. Quite a dodgy scam really.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with BT Openreach, saying there was an issue with my broadband speed. When I told him I hadn’t noticed anything wrong, he sorta chuckled nervously like he’d been caught out. Pretty obvious he wasn’t from BT Openreach, so I told him to stop wasting my time and ended the call.

Got a call from some bloke trying to chat about my broadband. I asked him to say that again cos I didn’t catch it properly with his accent. When I told him I was fine, he just snapped, “fu## you madam” and then hung up on me. Honestly, he was nasty and I’m not sure where to even lodge a complaint. Proper nuisance.

Proper nasty bloke on the line earlier. I picked up and asked who was calling, then told him to take my number off their list. He said he was a customer and then started talking rubbish about wanting to F.K me and offer me £200? After that, he tried to say he wanted to pay me for something dodgy. Such a disgusting call from a call centre. Already reported it to BT. The number was 01935 431209.
