Today at 12:58 pm, I got a call from 001935429671. The person was speaking in a language I couldn't understand, maybe something Asian, and there was a laugh in the middle like they were chatting with a mate. They left a message or were having a conversation, but it all seemed a bit dodgy to me - probably a scam.

So, this bloke called me up, said he was from Microsoft in Reading - pretty much like other people’s experiences. He’s phoned me a couple of weeks back, then again yesterday, and once more today. Every time I’ve told him to remove me from their list. He wasn’t having it and kept pushing back, even threatened to block my computer!

Had a really annoying call that came through right in the middle of lunch, about 12:35 on a weekday. A young bloke with a British accent said he was from Microsoft. I told him my number was registered with the TPS, so he shouldn't be ringing me. He ignored that and kept going on about how TPS doesn’t stop calls. I tried calmly explaining again that they have to check the TPS list before cold calling. Then he just started shouting and went a bit mad, refusing to listen at all. I ended up having to hang up on him.

Some bloke called saying he was from Microsoft, saying there was someone spying on my computer and watching dodgy stuff online. I told him I'd just seen a show about their scam on telly the other night, and he hung up straight away. Looks like maybe I wasn’t in any trouble after all!

Today at about 2.04pm, I got a call from 001935429671. A guy answered and said he was ringing from Microsoft. He told me there was some issue with files on my computer. When I asked where he was calling from, he said Microsoft’s main office in Reading. Oddly, the number showed up as being from the States. He sounded quite polite but I told him right away it was a scam and ended the call. GR

They didn’t bother leaving any voicemail, so I have no clue who called. I’ve got TPS registered anyway, just like some other people mentioned.

Been getting calls from this number loads of times but it just hangs up right when the voicemail starts, so I’m clueless what they want.

I keep getting calls from this overseas number, but as soon as my answerphone picks up, they just hang up straight away. Definitely doesn’t seem like a legit call.
