9 yearsGot a call from that number, some guy with an Indian accent who said he was with BT. He claimed my IP address was damaged and that he needed to get into my device to fix it. I told him my phone wasn’t really working properly and I didn’t have a computer anyway. Then he said he’d have to disconnect me from the network. I asked to talk to his manager just for a laugh, and another bloke came on, repeating the same nonsense. I told him he wasn’t with BT and was definitely trying to scam me. He said he’d disconnect me, but I said I wasn’t bothered since I wasn’t even online. He just hung up. The area code’s from Yeovil, apparently.
