They’ve rung me 6 times in just 4 days, always hanging up the second I pick up. After searching the number and landing on this site, I remembered I’d already asked Money Expert to take me off their list. I tried calling back and it is indeed Money Expert, but whenever the robot voice says it’s connecting me, the call drops. I’ve reported them to the ICO twice now and will keep doing so with every call until they fix this. Would definitely suggest others report them too.

30-05-18 They acted like they were giving me a PPI refund and wanted me to confirm my address and date of birth. It was pretty sneaky, but thankfully my daughter was around and stopped me from handing over any of my refund!

They said they were calling from Money Supermarket and mentioned I’d got a switch quote from them last year (which is true) and asked if I wanted to switch again. I told them I don’t want any marketing calls and asked to have my info taken off their system. They said they’d do it, so we’ll see if they actually do!

They rang me a couple of times today but I didn't pick up, so I looked it up here and found out it’s an energy supplier trying to get new clients. I’ve blocked them now.

It’s from some energy switching service. They ring you up when your fixed deal with your energy provider is about to end. I moved over from my old supplier through some comparison website and they’re just checking in. Basically, they want to help you switch to a cheaper energy plan and get a better price. I ended up saving about £150 a year thanks to them!
