Got a call early this morning from a woman, was about 9:33am. She wanted to know if I was on my computer around 10pm the previous night, saying there was some kind of issue coming from Texas. Told me to check my computer, seemed fishy right away. Definitely a scam so watch out!

01932570527 called me claiming my pc was sending out error alerts. I just ended the call straight away. When I looked up the number, it came up as Weybridge. A week ago, an Indian lady rang with a very similar story and got really rude when I told her it was a scam and she should be ashamed. She threatened to put me on a blacklist. I just hung up, and she tried ringing back but I didn’t pick up.

Fed up with these so-called idols phoning up at ridiculous hours. Just today, they called me at 8:15 in the morning and no one even said a word. I've mentioned before that I’d report them to the police if they kept harassing me, but it hasn’t stopped these nuisances at all. Sometimes they ring me up to eight times daily. Next time, I’m just gonna leave them on hold. What's frustrating is that nothing ever seems done about these scammers. I was under the impression cold calling was banned in the UK now. Since it's a landline, you'd think they’d be easy to track down.

I’ve been getting calls from this number as well, but it’s always silent on the other end! How odd!

Got a call from someone claiming to be "online support" saying my computer was having problems and I needed to turn it on. So I joked that I had to light the gas first since my computer runs on gas. They just ended the call right away, which was pretty odd. Don’t know why they left so quickly.

He told me he was based in Mayfair, giving me a London address and even the name of a resident connected to this number in the past. I had someone verify the location, but he’s actually phoning from Weybridge, Surrey. The usual tale about tech support and my computer supposedly spitting out errors. Honestly, if it weren’t so risky for those who don’t know any better, it would be quite amusing. Part of me wants them to call again so I can really get to the bottom of it. Seriously, don’t entertain the call for a second - just hang up and don’t ring back.

I answered and just said hello, but didn’t get a word back, then they hung up straight away. The caller ID showed a UK number but it said it was from an international out of area. Really strange.

I picked up since it looked like a UK number, but then some guy with an Indian accent started saying there was an issue with my Windows software and my computer. I don’t even use Microsoft stuff, so I knew straight away it was a con. Tried to ask him a few questions but couldn’t make out what he was on about. Told him that and hung up. Weirdly, the same number called back twice, and on the second time, it showed up as an internal call.

Luckily my phone shows caller ID, so if I don't recognise the number I just let it ring out. I've seen that this same number has tried to call me a few times when I wasn’t around. They rang again just now, and I’ve since found out it’s a scam. I've contacted my phone and internet company to get the number blocked. I’ve even reported it as harassing because they have called repeatedly, both when I was out and then again while I’m in today.

This number rang me a couple of times, and the second call was pretty nasty. The bloke was threatening that Microsoft would blacklist me, and when I told him I’d report him to the police, he started swearing at me. Quite upsetting to deal with!

I picked up and some bloke with an Indian accent started saying he was calling from Windows or something, and that some woman from America was using my IP address? I was like, who exactly are you trying to reach? He then drops the name of a lady who used to have my number ages ago lol. Honestly, just hang up, it’s nothing but Indian scammers trying to mess with you!!!!

I received a call a little after one o'clock on Monday, and the person claimed that someone had accessed my computer at 10 pm the previous Sunday. Apparently, two individuals from Texas were attempting to extract information from my device. They asked if I could switch my computer on so they could assist me. However, being at my office, the phones were going off the hook, and it became obvious that I was onto their game. She called me foolish and abruptly hung up-very unprofessional!

This bloke kept going on with questions, speaking with some kind of foreign accent, claiming he was from my phone company. Then he told me, "There's an issue with your Windows, please switch on your computer." Something didn’t feel right so I hung up. But he kept ringing back, like six times! I just let it go to voicemail in the end. After that he started playing music non-stop until the memory got full. Eventually, I had to unplug the phone for a bit to stop it all.

I picked up and some woman started saying there was a problem with my computer. I put her on hold and blasted super loud music through the phone.
