01929752533 - WATCH OUT - this number is a SCAM artist! I received a call from this number at 11 o'clock on Monday, July 15th, 2019. After the call finished, I dialled 1471 to trace the number. The individual on the other end claimed to be from British Telecom, insisting my internet connection was compromised and they could resolve it for me. They urged me to power on my computer and other nonsense. The truth is, my internet connection is absolutely fine, and I recalled a similar incident about a year prior when I was asked to download dubious software from a site they were going to provide. I confronted the caller with this experience and made it clear that I was aware they weren't from BT, but just another scammer. At that point, they promptly hung up. Clearly, this was a SCAM! It’s astonishing how these individuals must think we are all gullible. I strongly advise keeping an eye out for this number and reporting it if you happen to be contacted. Cheers!
