I received a call from an international number, and the chap on the line had a rather foreign accent. He kept referring to me as "Madam," which felt quite odd. To my surprise, he knew my name, but when I tried to ask him about his company, I struggled to understand him due to his thick accent. He claimed that my laptop was being compromised and mentioned that I should’ve received notifications from them regarding this issue. He seemed very keen to help resolve the matter directly with me. At that moment, I decided it was best to hang up. Shortly after, he tried to call me again, but I chose not to pick up.
