Thing is, I never agreed to anything back then. She told me their campaign did really well, thanked me for my “support” and said they’d be sending me a book with my name in it along with a certificate. Then she tried to get me to confirm who would be billed for £295. I told her we do back charities but hadn’t signed up to this one and just hung up. It all seemed fairly believable.
