4 yearsLike some others here, I got a call saying I was linked to some anti-bullying magazine and they wanted me to settle the charges then and there. Total con artists!4 yearsI got a call from a woman who was really sure of herself, ringing from 01925 500193 about these Stay Safe Books for Schools. She claimed they'd tried to contact me before Christmas and that I’d already agreed to be involved. The whole thing felt a bit off, but I let her talk through the spiel, during which she mentioned I’d supposedly signed up to sponsor a school for £289. I asked which school and she came up with Keep Hill, but I never picked any school myself. In the end, I cut the call short because it just didn’t add up, and I made sure not to give out any money or personal info like my email or address.Stay Safe Books for SchoolsHill4 yearsSomeone rang me claiming they’d printed Stay Safe booklets for schools and asked which school I wanted them sent to. I told them I wasn’t fussed and didn’t remember speaking to them before. After that, the call just dropped. Feels like a scam to me, maybe they’ve done some digging on nearby schools to your number to sound legit, then try to get your bank info and scam you. Just how I see it!4 yearsNo idea who it was, just silent on the other end. Bit strange!4 yearsAs soon as I picked up, the line went dead - nothing but silence.4 yearsGot a call from someone claiming to be a safety officer for School Safe Guarding. They said they wanted to thank us for helping with distributing some safe child handbooks to our local school and mentioned a charge of £239, which they said the school would repay us later. Thing is, we've never been involved in anything like that before. When I asked more questions, they quickly ended the call, so I reckon it was a scam.School Safe Guarding4 yearsGot a call claiming to be from some School Safety group, thanking us for backing a safety program that supposedly costs £199.99, something they said we agreed to last year. I asked them to show me proof, and the woman said they record every call and someone would send us the recording?! Sounds like a total scam to me.Submit Your Own Report (01925 500189)
