Like many before me have pointed out, they've asserted that I was part of some anti-bullying initiative and are asking me to settle a bill right away. Utterly fraudulent, if you ask me!

I received a rather surprising call from a rather self-assured woman regarding the Stay Safe Books for Schools, using the number 01925 500193. Apparently, they claimed to have reached out before Christmas where I supposedly consented to participate. The conversation took an odd turn, as she mentioned I was sponsoring for £289, a figure that certainly caught me off guard. When asked about which school I preferred, I had none in mind, yet they suggested Keep Hill. It didn’t sit right with me, so I promptly ended the call, realising it was all rather dubious. Thankfully, I didn’t divulge any financial information or personal details like my email or address.

I received a rather peculiar phone call from someone claiming they had printed the Stay Safe books intended for schools and wanted to know which institution I’d prefer to donate them to. I mentioned that I wasn’t particularly fussed about the donation destination, as I couldn’t recall any previous discussion on this topic with them. Almost immediately after, the line went silent. It strikes me as a rather crafty scam; they’ve likely researched schools in the vicinity of my number to throw in a familiar name to gain my trust, and then the next thing you know, they’re after your bank details and making off with your money - just my two pence worth, of course!

Had a rather peculiar experience with a certain number that just rings and goes quiet. Quite unsettling, really.

Picked up the call, but all I got was silence before they hung up. Quite odd, really.

I received a rather curious call from someone claiming to be a safety officer associated with School Safe Guarding. They expressed their gratitude for our involvement in distributing the safe child handbooks to a nearby school, supposedly at a price of £239, which they claimed the school would reimburse afterward. This was rather baffling as we've never been engaged in anything of this sort before. My suspicions were instantly raised, and when I probed for more details, the caller hastily ended the conversation. It felt distinctly like a dodgy scheme if you ask me!

Received a rather dubious call claiming to be from an organisation focused on safeguarding schools, expressing their gratitude for our involvement in a safety initiative priced at £199.99, which we supposedly consented to a year ago. Naturally, I inquired about any documentation to validate this claim, and the representative responded that they tape all their conversations and would have someone reach out with the recording. Sounded like a complete dodgy operation to me!
