I recently had a rather alarming phone call from someone claiming to be Steven Zhou, supposedly representing DHL. For about half an hour, I felt as though I was being drawn into a dubious scheme aimed at extorting money from me. He asserted that a parcel supposedly sent by me to China contained restricted items and some credit cards. According to him, customs had intercepted this package, and I had a mere two hours to prove that I wasn't involved or risk facing an international lawsuit. He attempted to transfer me to an investigation team, but I outright declined and hung up. For the record, I've never dispatched any parcel, and I certainly wasn’t in London on the 7th of September when they claimed it was sent. It was a truly unsettling and frustrating experience.

It's quite perilous, this scheme seems rather dodgy. Best to take everything they say with a hefty pinch of salt!

I’ve been inundated with calls from this number for ages now, and I’m truly fed up! I’ve never requested them to reach out to me in the first place.
