I got a call from a man named Steven Zhou claiming he was from DHL. For about half an hour, he kept telling me this was some kind of scam trying to force me into paying money. He claimed a parcel I supposedly sent to China had some banned items and credit cards in it. Apparently, customs and excise had stopped the package and said I had two hours to prove it wasn’t mine or else China would take legal action against me. He then wanted to put me through to some investigation team for a chat, but I refused and ended the call. I never sent any parcel and wasn’t even in London on 7th September, which is when they said it was sent. Honestly, it was a really stressful and infuriating call.

It's quite perilous, this scheme seems rather dodgy. Best to take everything they say with a hefty pinch of salt!

I’ve been getting calls from these folks for weeks now and it’s driving me mad! I never once gave them permission to ring me.
