If I could trace back to the source of my number being sold, I'd be straight on the phone to a solicitor; I would pursue compensation for the sheer nuisance caused and demand the full payment they received for passing on my details. I've never consented to anyone sharing my number unless it's for a specific service that I actually need, and even then, it’s only for the particular use I’ve agreed to. The fact that someone has sold my contact information without my explicit permission is a blatant breach of my rights.
