Someone rang me claiming to be from "the claims desk" but wouldn’t say where exactly. Mentioned PPI, like the banks haven’t been caught short paying folks on compensations for loans and fees. Told them I’d already checked my PPI about a year and a half ago and my bank was fine. They kept saying "that’s why we’re calling, you might still get money." I tried to explain I was happy with the old PPI, but they just kept talking over me, so I ended the call and blocked the number.

Got a call this morning from a Manchester number, the person asked if I was Mr B##### S######s and seemed to already know my name - don’t worry it’s just those hackers fishing about for info to con people.
