I got a call from a guy with a strong accent, not English as a first language, claiming to be from the NHS. I didn't buy it and kept asking questions, but he kept dodging them. He asked if I’d had my two vaccines and said I’d get a certificate from my GP. After that, he switched to pestering me about my life insurance - specifically my over 50s plan with AIG. I kept refusing to give him any info about the premium. He just wouldn’t drop it, so I told him again I didn’t trust it was NHS and hung up. Now I’ve blocked the number.

I got a call from a supposed government debt help service, but the voice wasn’t English, sounded more like Indian. I played along for a while, saying I was in witness protection and they’d have to get the police involved 😅 They kept trying to persuade me they were legit and begged me not to report them. After about 10 minutes of no progress, they finally just hung up.

They seemed familiar with my name and started probing about any side effects I might have experienced post-vaccination. Then, out of the blue, they inquired about PCR tests. After that, they smoothly transitioned to chatting about life insurance. That’s when I decided it was time to end the call.

The early riser really thought they could nab the worms, didn't they? Honestly, this person has been at it for ages, yet can’t seem to focus on a single aim in life, which frankly shouldn't take too long. My sincerest hope is that these unscrupulous scammers meet their comeuppance sooner rather than later-like flies, they deserve to be swatted with all the filth they've spread. Here's to a New Year filled with my best wishes for you lot! Absolute disgrace!

Received a call purporting to be from the NHS regarding my vaccinations, and then they inquired about my PCR test results. They were mistaken, as I'm actually positive. Curiously, they also brought up life insurance. Did a quick search on this number, and it seems they're likely scammers. I've now blocked them.

I missed a call earlier today and then received another attempt just after ten in the evening - I mean, come on! I answered and said hello at least six times, growing increasingly annoyed with each repetition, only for the caller to hang up without uttering a single word. How frustrating!

Had a late-night call around half eleven, gabbing on about whether I'd had my vaccinations. I told him I couldn’t chat as I was mingling at a party. He insisted I shouldn’t be at a party and threatened to involve the authorities. I laughed it off, saying it was all fine because my pal Boris was with me and could handle any coppers that turned up-we're actually at Number 10 Downing Street! 😂🍾

I was inquired about my vaccination status and if I had my certificate handy. The caller purported to be representing the NHS. Subsequently, they bizarrely shifted the conversation to whether I had any life insurance. Seriously? I've never encountered anyone from the NHS asking such questions, and having been a part of their workforce, I find it utterly outrageous. Clearly, this is a complete ruse!

Just had a rather peculiar phone call from a chap claiming to be from a warehouse, though I couldn’t quite catch the name. I asked him to remove me from his list, and he flatly refused! When he queried my request with a ‘Why?’ I simply replied that I had no desire to converse with him. His response? He indignantly remarked that he didn’t want to chat with “superficial ladies.” Quite the encounter, I must say!
