Got a random call from someone saying they were from an online directory, asking if the business owner was available. When I told her to call the main office back, she didn’t even bother to ask for the number, which made me think they’re probably just fishing for small businesses.

Got a call from a guy called 'Lawrence' who had a really thick foreign accent. He wanted to talk to the head of the business, saying phone call costs were going down. Told him we hardly use landlines nowadays and mostly rely on the internet. When I asked which company he was with, he only said he was working for Openreach, and then the call just cut off. Definitely a SCAM!
