I asked what she was after, and she said she couldn’t continue unless I answered some security questions. I told her I was the one calling her back, so I wasn’t saying anything. Then I just ended the call.

I got a call from HSBC Kinetic’s phone banking but the number was different to the usual 0345 one. It was 5873529 or something like that, definitely linked to HSBC Kinetic. When I asked more questions, they told me to call the main 0345 line instead.
