I received a call from 01924 489178, and the caller claimed to be from BT, claiming they had data indicating we weren’t receiving the internet speeds we were guaranteed. Before she continued her spiel, I interrupted her to clarify that she should double-check her records, as I’m not even a BT subscriber. I then hung up. This felt to me very much like either a marketing ploy or outright spam, considering her information was entirely off the mark.
