6 yearsGot a call on my mobile from a bloke with a northern accent, asking for me by my first name. I said “speakin’” and he said “that’s not” then repeated my name. I replied “aye, that’s me.” After a moment of silence, I asked who was calling and he just hung up. Could be he dialled the wrong number by mistake, happenin’ to have the same name. Or maybe some dodgy scammer trying to check who owns the number for a future con. Either way, I don’t know a soul from Wakefield, which was the number’s area code.
