Got a call from some scammer trying to get my details. My advice? Just hang up straight away and block their number to be safe.

No clue who was calling. I answered but they didn’t say a word, so I hung up. Probably just some telesales place, I guess.

I received a rather dodgy call the other day. It was a robotic voice claiming to be from my bank, but funnily enough, they didn’t bother to mention which bank it was! They were banging on about two payments that were supposedly set to go out from my account - one for £300 to Amazon and another hefty £1100 to some foreign bank. They wanted me to press 1 to supposedly verify things and get transferred or some nonsense like that. It’s clearly a scam, so be vigilant, everyone! I've taken the liberty of blocking the number, and I highly recommend that others do the same to avoid any potential hassle. Stay safe out there!
