Got a missed call from 01924279761 when I wasn’t home. Tried calling back to find out who it was but TalkTalk said the number’s blocked and asked for my name, so I just hung up. If it rings again, I’m definitely ignoring it.

Blocked the number straight away. I honestly don’t get why BT doesn’t keep an eye on these calls and just shut them down? It’s not exactly complicated, is it? But knowing BT, I guess nothing will change.

I got a bunch of automated calls supposedly from my internet provider, but they never actually said which company it was. They claimed my IP address was under some kind of serious threat and warned that my internet service would be cut off within a day or two. They told me to press 1 to talk to someone right away, but I didn’t bother - felt like a total scam to me.

I got a call saying our phone line and internet would be disconnected in a day, but it was totally a scam. This isn’t the first time we got one of these calls, so we rang our real service provider just to check, and they said everything was fine. Don’t give them any info, it’s a trick!
