I got a call from this supposed debt help company aimed at homeowners, seemed fishy to me. Definitely felt like a scam trying to lure people in with promises that sounded too good to be true. Watch out if you get called by them!

This number has called me twice in just ten minutes, but now they’re claiming to be from the ‘credit investigation unit’. Of course, it was the same old debt relief scam. I told the caller I’d already spoken to someone from this number earlier and asked if he wanted a recap of what I told him. He got a bit anxious and then just hung up.

Got a call about some debt help, said it was backed by the government - total rubbish really. The schemes are just mentioned in laws, doesn’t mean they’re officially approved or anything. They told me I was specially chosen or something, which is complete nonsense. Anyone can apply for those debt programs if they want. Just a load of con artists trying to trick you.
