Got a call at about 9:25 on the 14th of August 2018 from some bloke saying he was with BT Openreach. I kept telling him I’m with Virgin Media, but he wouldn’t take no for an answer, kept going on about how BT own the lines. When I asked him to calm down and stop yelling, he just lost it, called me a m####r f####r, then dropped the call. Proper rude and unprofessional.

Today, Saturday 14th July at 10:50 am, I got the exact same call as the one mentioned at 12:40 pm in another comment, word for word. I ended up hanging up too.

Got a call around 12.40pm from someone claiming to be from BT, saying my internet speed is dropping. I asked if they'd be sending someone around, but she said they could sort it remotely on my PC. I told her allowing access could lead to theft of my personal data. She then snapped at me, calling me stupid and hung up straight away. I've reported the call to BT and they’re adding the number to their blacklist.
