I got a call from someone claiming they were from BT with offers for broadband, right after I’d just been chatting with them about a new account. When I mentioned I’d already talked to BT earlier that day, the bloke just dropped the call straight away!

I just got a robotic lady voice telling me my phone line would be cut off within a day. Thing is, my number’s never been listed anywhere and I’m signed up with the Telephone Preference Service to avoid these kinds of calls. Does anyone know how to block these annoying calls for good?

Sounds like the typical BT scam, those calls are definitely from some dodgy call centre in India. Total scam alert!
