Got a call from someone claiming to be from Sky's refund team, saying we had been overbilled and were due £202 back. I played along for a bit but put a stop to it when they asked for my date of birth. Pretty clear they were dodgy - we don’t even have a Sky account!

This bloke said he was from BT tech support, said there was dodgy stuff happening with my internet and landline. I asked him for ID and a callback number, which he gave, but then “John” just hung up on me. I tried ringing back, but got the answerphone asking me to leave my number for a return call. Never heard from them again after that.
