Got a call from 0191 949 0123, seemed really dodgy. They were asking for someone called Miss Rebecca, then I heard loads of commotion and some muffled noises. After that, the person on the other end said their system was going down and they’d ring back later. Honestly, it sounded like they were getting busted or something! Decided to block the number straight away.

I've been getting loads of texts and calls from people asking for a Karen Eardley. When I told one caller that I've had this number for quite a while and don't know anyone by that name, they just ended the call. Seems like a lot of folks are trying to track her down using this number.

Typical scammers, calling a bunch of people at once, like 6 different numbers all at the same time. Whoever picks up first gets the chat, and the rest just get cut off. It’s frustrating how the government needs cash but doesn't put any effort into catching these con artists and taking the money back from them.

I was hoping to have a chat with someone named James Nolan or possibly Dolan. However, upon realising it was a misdial, the caller seemed keen to ask me a couple of questions. Just as our conversation was getting underway, the call suddenly dropped. This all happened on the 19th of October around 10 in the morning.

My landline rang and right away I knew it was a total scam, I didnt even wait for the message to end. Like lots of others have said, that number isn't connected to any of my accounts anyway, so even if the voicemail sounded legit, I would have cut them off quick!
