I got a call from someone who was claiming to be Sky, and they even sent me a message that looked like it was from Sky. Still, I’m pretty sure it was a scam. They kept saying they could lower my bill, send out an engineer to sort my issues, give me a new router, and even offered a free iPad to make up for it. Sounded fishy to me.

I picked up when they rang, but then they just ended the call. I tried ringing them back afterwards, but no one answered.

Picked up the phone, but the person just ended the call straight away. Clearly wasn't interested in chatting.

They rang me loads from different numbers all within about 5 minutes. When I picked up eventually, they just dropped the call. Proper strange behaviour!

Got a call from EE saying they have this deal with a fancy new phone for just £12 a month over two years. I told them it sounded dodgy and I was about to hang up, but then the caller just dropped the line on me. Seemed fishy to me.

I received a call from a company named "Stop Debt," which they said was a debt advisory service. The caller insisted they were assisting individuals in managing their outstanding debts. They then inquired if I had any debts that were still outstanding. I replied in the negative, and with that, the caller promptly hung up. Quite odd, really!

If you’ve got a bit of free time, try stringing them along with fake credit cards, bank loans, and store accounts. I once thought up a list of around 25 different ones. After rattling them off, I ask the caller to repeat everything back to confirm they haven’t missed anything. Then I invent some random occupation and a ridiculous debt amount. After about twenty minutes chatting, I tell them I need to leave for a dentist appointment in half an hour and just hang up. It’s a good way to burn some of their time. - Paul from Bradford.

I keep getting calls about some debt thing, but I told them I don't owe anything and then they just hung up straight away. These calls happen way too often and it's getting really frustrating.

Had to block some dodgy caller again. Seriously, how hard is it for them to take a hint and stop?

They’ve rung me up four times now, and every time I pick up, they just hang up straight away without saying a word.

This marks the third time today that they've rung me, yet not a single message has been left.
