They just stayed quiet the whole time and it was obvious a scam, so I ended the call right away.

I picked up and said hello a few times, but all I could hear was what seemed like loud breathing and maybe some heavy rain in the background. Nobody spoke or responded. Really weird call.

ive had a lad with a foreign accent say hes calling from virgin, but when i stayed quiet he started saying the situation was really bad. i just ended the call straight away. it definitely wasnt virgin media and it came from a 0191 number. this is the second time ive got a call pretending to be from virgin media.
