That might be right since they actually supply my electricity now. I know ESB is Irish but they’ve got a branch in Manchester too. Maybe they’re trying to set up smart meter installations, which I don’t currently have. So before marking it as a scam, consider if you also lack a smart meter - that could explain the call.
