I thought it sounded off, so rang my bank myself and there was no record of any such transaction. Pretty clear it was just a scam.

Got a call from them earlier today, but luckily my iPhone blocks calls from numbers that aren’t saved in my contacts, so they never got through. You just have to go into settings, then phone, and turn on 'silence unknown callers'. Honestly, no more random calls bothering me now. If you’ve got an iPhone, just sort it out like that instead of complaining about spam calls. Simple as that!
