Kept ringing me up wanting to chat with one of the directors about something to do with the Climate control levy. Was really dodgy when I tried to get his info, wouldn't say much about who he was.

Fraudsters for sure. Give them a ring back and don’t hang up, just keep calling them. They find that really annoying.

Some bloke rang up saying he’d been told to get in touch about the UK climate change deal and wanted to chat with one of our directors - he even gave the name. I told him it was 9:45 on a Monday and the directors don’t just hang about their offices waiting for cold calls like that. Well, he just slammed the phone down on me straight away. Worth mentioning, we’ve had loads of calls from this outfit already and have asked them to knock it off.

Some bloke called saying he was from an energy tax refund outfit, claimed I was overbilled and they wanted to give me money back - yeah, as if! Completely sounded like a scam to me.

My voicemail got left a message where this person with a strange foreign accent was just quietly humming a song for like two whole minutes! So odd!

For the last few days I’ve been getting calls from this bloke who just wouldn’t quit. He was one of those cold callers trying to convince me to switch my energy provider, saying it’d save me a ton of cash. It was proper irritating.

Just got a call from a firm offering to check my utility bills to help save cash. And finally, no one with an obviously Indian background pretending to be a typical English Christian trying to con me. Felt refreshing, to be honest.

Got a missed call from this number on my phone, but they didn’t leave any voicemail or anything. I think a nearly identical number rang me a few days ago too, maybe part of the same telemarketer outfit? I’m not gonna phone back 'cause I’ve no clue who it is - could just be one of those robocalls seeing if my line’s active.
