A lovely lady called, sounded like she was from the subcontinent. She asked for me by name, which was kinda nice. Still, it had all the signs of a typical scam.

I got a call from a woman claiming to be from some place with 'capital' in its name. She asked to talk to my husband, but when I said he wasn’t available, she suddenly got really rude, saying it was urgent and confidential. I told her not to ring back and then she just dropped the call. I've since blocked the number.

I picked up and all they did was hang up straight away. Classic automated call centre trick, plus they're apparently paying folks to mark numbers as 'safe' so they can start calling them nonstop.
