A well-spoken lady's voice came through asking, "Is that calling?" Then the line just went dead. She even said my name beforehand. I replied, "Yes, who is this?"

Got a call on our home phone at about 9:55 this morning. The lady sounded quite polite and said her name was Susan Russell. I’m not familiar with anyone called that, so I just ended the call. We do have call monitoring on the line, just FYI.

Got a call from this number around 11:35 today. I picked up and a polite lady asked if she was speaking to me by name. As soon as I said yes, she just hung up straight away. So frustrating and quite disrespectful! I’m definitely going to block this number. If they try ringing again, I won’t be holding back on what I say.

Got a call from a polite woman, but she never said who she was. She jumped straight into asking about my property. When I asked her to say who she was, she just hung up right away. Honestly, no clue what that was about.

i called guardian so anyone calling me needs to say who they are first. Most scammers just don’t do that. This lady actually said who she was but went quiet as soon as i picked up, then just hung up. Now, she’s getting blocked by me.

I picked up the call but it just went straight to voicemail. When I checked the message, all I could hear was background noise from what sounded like a call centre. Absolutely no actual message was recorded. So, I just deleted it!

Had a call from someone claiming my loft might be damp and needed checking. They tried to get me to agree to a visit from one of their agents, who would then charge an arm and a leg for fixing “issues”. Classic scam to make a quick buck!

I had a bit of a curious encounter with someone who inquired about my identity, then surprisingly shifted the topic to whether or not my loft had been insulated. Quite the conversation!

When we answered the phone, all we could hear was some daft muttering in the background. Given where the call came from, it’s likely to be a dodgy scammer on the other end. Best to be wary of this number!

Upon answering the phone, we were met with a rather daft individual rambling indistinctly in the background. Given where the call apparently originated, it’s likely to be a scam artist on the other end. I’d suggest being wary of this number.
