It just wouldn't stop calling, so I finally picked up. The person on the line claimed to be from Utilita, which is my energy provider, and started asking me questions about smart meters. He wanted to know if I used a key or a card to pay. When I mentioned I pay by card, he suddenly apologised and said he’d sort it out, then promptly disconnected the call. Quite peculiar, if you ask me. Fingers crossed it’s not some dodgy scam!
