Got a call from someone claiming they could upgrade my broadband with EE, and strangely enough, they knew my name. Problem is, I don’t even have EE as my internet provider. Anyone defending this has to be part of the scam.

Got a call from this number but missed it. Tried calling back and it just cut off right away, which felt dodgy to me. If it was really EE like some say, they wouldn’t be calling from a hidden landline. Honestly, I reckon it’s a scam and would advise everyone to just block this number.

Got a call from EE or BT at first I figured it was some scam. I checked with BT later by looking at the notes on my account and turns out it was real. They are testing out this new thing where they give 5G smart hubs to BT customers. During the call they gave me some PIN codes from BT to prove it was legit.

So I got a call yesterday and at first I was sure it was some sort of scam, but then I got a pin from BT which made me think it might be real. Sure enough, the hub showed up today and it was completely free like they said it would be.

I got a call from this number claiming there were some outages and they could send me a 5G hub, but I’d have to log in with them first. I wasn’t interested so just ended the call.

Had a ring about upgrading my BT broadband box, bloke somehow knew my name and was offering this free EE mobile router to use alongside my current one. I told him I’d think on it, then he started pushing hard, saying they only had a few left. I just told him I wasn’t bothered about missing out and ended the call.

The number from EE Broadband seems legit and safe to me. I got a call from them and couldn’t find anything suspicious about it. They seem to be a genuine company.

Honestly, EE acts like a proper bully in the telecom world, trying to shake up everything they touch. BT? Honestly, they might as well call themselves Fascist Telecom with how they run things. 01916912235

Some bloke rang up saying he was from EE and asked me to enter a code he’d give me. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.

I got a call from this number earlier today, someone saying they were from a business linked to EE, trying to sell me an upgrade for my broadband. They did seem to have some info about my existing plan, but I got the impression they were an outsourced call centre. I didn’t share any personal info with them, but the deal this guy Charlie mentioned sounded exactly like an offer EE themselves had sent me not long ago.
