Got a call from this really cheeky young bloke. I told him we’re signed up with the TPS and still getting nonstop calls like his, so he should just stop. I told the guy from eco2, who was rathar pushy and kept calling, that I’m already on the TPS list. He was quite rude and even told me to just cut the phone off and not pick up! Proper cheeky behaviour.

So I mentioned I knew they wanted folks on benefits for the free boiler thing, right? Then the guy quickly said, well, maybe you could find someone who is on benefits. I told him no, we’ve worked pretty hard all our lives not to rely on that. He just brushed it off, saying that sounded like a bit of a stretch. Honestly, how do you stop getting bombarded with all these boiler calls? It’s so annoying!

I just got a call out the blue from this number and they actually left a message on my voicemail! It was some guy named Frank Thomas from the Government Eco Scheme or something like that. Honestly, yeah sure Frank, like I’m going to fall for that... Just get real!

A guy rang asking if I was Mr ----, and I said yeah, that’s me. Then he started asking if I was still receiving pension credits for “that property.” I wasn’t sure what he was on about, so I asked for clarification and he just hung up on me. Pretty sure I ended up giving away my surname without realising it.

About an hour back, some man called up asking if I was with a particular gas supplier, said something like gabble gabble gabble, which I didn't recognise at all. I told him I wasn’t with any gas company, and he went on about how his firm could supply gas to me or something like that. The moment I caught on, I just said “No thanks” and hung up straight away. Honestly, can someone - anyone - please make these irritating, dreadful nuisance callers vanish? They’re such a pain!

Got a call from some place called HG Communications saying they work with the government on eco stuff. They mentioned they team up with the DWP and since I get tax credits, I could get new storage heaters fitted for free. Had a chat with a woman named Marika who gave me the manager’s email: [email protected] and said they don’t have a website because they’ve only been going for six months.
