Some PPI sales calls. Seems like they get your number from online marketing databases. That’s why you gotta watch out before filling in surveys or entering prize draws with discount brands or companies you don’t really know or trust. I just blocked the number.

Got loads of calls from this firm, never picked up cause I didn’t recognise the number. One time, half asleep at 9 in the morning, I answered and they started going on about me showing interest in PPI. I just let the bloke ramble for a good five mins, then asked him straight up, “Can you promise all the money I claim will actually come to me? And if I don’t get it, will your company pay up?” He said yes, no problem. So I told him, “Well, just so you know, I’m bankrupt,” which I’m not, and he immediately hung up on me swearing! Proper rude that was.

I’ve had seven calls over just two days, even on a bank holiday. They must be really desperate for customers. A very rude Asian guy kept pestering me and wouldn’t take no for an answer. This sort of behaviour should definitely be classed as harassment and needs to be shut down by the authorities right away. My phone number is unlisted on both national and international registers, and I’m not on any social media, yet they still manage to ring me.
