Had another run in with those scammers. My advice? Pick up and act clueless. Don’t hand over any details, just keep them talking and waste their minutes. Eventually, it’ll cost them more than it’s worth.

Got a call from this number today, 12 Oct 2017, and no answer when I picked up. Just another annoying call, so I've blocked it now.

I tried ringing them back and got a message from something called 1st Call Group, saying if I want to stop getting calls I should email them my name and phone number. Did a quick search online and found out they’re actually a call centre company outsourcing from South Africa.

Had a couple of calls from these folks, the second one said something about a £2,500 refund for shopping or something like that. I just hung up straight away because it sounds like a total scam to me. Just so you know, the number is from North Shields and I don’t know any companies around there at all. Watch out for this!

I've never had any contacts or business with anyone in North Shields, so I just let it ring out. Since they didn’t leave any voicemail, I’m guessing it’s just some random number someone’s calling from.

I picked up pretty fast, but by the time I did, the caller had already hung up!

At the moment I’m dealing with ID fraud and it’s got me a bit worried. These people said they need my address to send me some kind of refund, but weirdly, they’ve got the right street name just the house number is off. Bit suspicious if you ask me.
