10 yearsI received a call from this number today, but they hung up just 20 seconds into the conversation. It was on the 10th of March, 2016.11 yearsIt turned out to be that 118 loan firm calling me.11811 yearsSeriously? You had that mishap not long ago, and now it’s happened again? Blimey, that's surprising! I can't believe it’s occurred twice today!Blimey11 yearsI received a call claiming to be about an incident my partner supposedly experienced. When I tried to have a chat with the rather cheeky lady from Liverpool, she quickly became quite aggressive. Then, in comes her so-called manager, who must have been eavesdropping, and he was just as rude. I made it clear that if they wanted to have a word with my partner, who is profoundly disabled, they would need to clarify the purpose of their call to me first. I pointed out that they could face hefty fines of up to £500,000, and warned them that if they persisted with unwanted calls, I would have no choice but to report them to the telecommunications regulator. At that point, he casually mentioned that he'd delete my number. Just a heads up, it seems cold callers are now employing some pretty dodgy software to disguise their locations. So, a call from what looks like a local number could very well be ringing in from miles away, or even from overseas. The caller identified themselves as representing a company called BAC. Be cautious!LiverpoolBAC11 yearsI got a call from this number around 7:03 PM and when I attempted to ring them back, I was met with an answering service-no company name mentioned, which I find a bit odd. Their accent had a distinct American lilt to it.11 yearsI believe this could be a scam. I tried to return the call after I missed it, but all I got was a recorded message telling me that no one's available and to leave a message for a callback. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!11 yearsThis number popped up on my phone but since I didn't know it, I didn't pick up right away. Later, I rang it back from my landline, only to hear some recorded message saying no one was free to answer and asked me to leave a voicemail. Then another message came on saying the voicemail box was full and couldn’t accept messages anymore. Definitely seemed like some sort of spam. No clue who it was!11 yearsReceived a ring from this number on my mobile, but since I didn’t recognise it, I opted not to pick up straight away. I decided to call back using my landline, only to hear a recorded message saying, “Apologies, but no one is available to take your call right now. Kindly leave a message after the beep, and someone will return your call.” After that, I was met with another automated response stating, “The caller’s mailbox is full, so we cannot accept additional messages.” Definitely gives off the vibe of a spam call if you ask me! - caller: Who knows!11 yearsI just received a call from this particular number.Submit Your Own Report (0191 671 2069)
