What utter nonsense! This number is definitely a scam. Just a heads up, HMRC wouldn’t reach out to you via phone like that. Clearly, those behind this have far too much time on their hands and are just trying to drag others into their petty little game. Do yourself a favour and steer clear of this nonsense-stay sharp and don’t engage. Cheers!

Definitely a scam, no doubt about it. The caller, who sounds like a recorded voice, claims to be from HMRC. This kind of thing is actually illegal.

They were claiming to be from HMRC but it was clearly a scam. Definitely don’t trust calls like this!

Imposter from HMRC :(

I seem to be inundated with these calls lately, and they really do cause me a fair bit of anxiety. Honestly, those behind these scams ought to be held accountable and face the full force of the law...

I just got a call from a number claiming to be HMRC, telling me to ring them straight away. Looks like one of those dodgy scams to me!

Got a recorded call from ‘HMRC’ then when I phoned back, some bloke called Danny Watson started going on about me being in trouble for tax fraud. He tried to explain the whole situation and gave a number they said was HMRC’s to back it up, but honestly it’s pretty simple to fake that. Of course, then they asked me to send money to a bank account. Don’t bother with this rubbish, just end the call straight away.

Got an automated call claiming to be from HMRC, telling me to get in touch with someone called Dennis or Denise Green or maybe Grey. They stressed not to ignore it and to reach out straight away. Being into scam baiting, I thought I'd have a bit of a laugh with it, but when I tried calling back, the line just went dead right away. Bit disappointing really.

I keep getting calls from these scammers pretending to be from HMRC, mostly sounding like they’re from India. Really annoying and feels so fake!

Absolutely fraudulent! They nearly had me convinced until I had a chat with my accountant-cheers to you, Fxxxxxx Txxxx!

Got an automated call saying it’s urgent from someone called officer Dennis Grey at HM Revenue and Customs. They gave a number, 01916454427, and said not to ignore it. They also warned about legal trouble if I or my solicitor don’t get in touch. Honestly, it felt a bit dodgy - I can’t see any real HMRC official leaving messages like that! I suppose some might ring back worried, but it just doesn’t sound legit to me.

It purports to be from HMRC, under the guise of someone named Dennis or Denise Green, though it's clearly just a recorded message. I thought it might be amusing to toy with them a bit, but alas, their number disconnects immediately. It's painfully obvious this is a scam. However, I encourage others to lead them on a merry dance-every moment they spend dealing with me means there’s one less unsuspecting soul falling prey to their tricks.

I received a rather alarming voicemail from this number, purporting to be from a chap named Dennis Green at HMRC. He went on about dire threats, warning that we must ring back pronto, or we’d be in for some legal repercussions. Honestly, it would be quite unsettling for someone of advanced age to hear such things. Let it be known, the HMRC themselves have stated that this is definitely not legitimate.

To most people it probably looks pretty genuine, but I’m telling you, this has got scam written all over it, no doubt about it.

Got a message from someone called Dennis Grey, or maybe Denise - sounded like a lady - saying they were from HMRC and it was urgent about my taxes. Definitely one of those scam calls, don’t fall for it!

Had a robocall from someone faking being from HMRC, going on about legal threats and telling me to ring them back. It's ridiculous, but I guess it might scare some folks into returning the call. Best thing is to just hang up and not engage - these scammers just want a reaction.

I received an automated call from a con artist masquerading as HMRC. It’s quite amusing, really, yet it's unfortunate that many individuals might fall for it due to sheer panic. Best to steer clear of these unscrupulous types; don’t give them the satisfaction of a return call!
