I’m a First Utility user, and this is the first time I’ve had a ring from this number. I’ll send them a text. I use a call blocker on my home phone, so callers have to say who they are, and most telemarketers or cold callers don’t make it through. I’ll wait to hear what First Utility have to say, but for now I’ve blocked the number.

Got a call at 5.20pm today 23.MAR.2018. It was a man with a North East accent claiming to be from First Utility. I rang First Utility on their official number and they said they do use call centres to remind customers to switch tariffs. But when I compared the numbers they gave me, they didn’t match the one that called me [###]. Sounds dodgy to me? My advice is to switch providers using a trusted switching website, which I’m definitely going to do, and forget First Utilities altogether.

Kept getting calls from this number when I wasnt even in the house. Finally answered and got a bloke with a NE accent, claiming he was from the First Utility retention team. The info he had was well out of date, like a couple of years old, and nothing he said was accurate. Tried to sell me a better deal than what I was on. So I rang First Utility myself from another phone, and they had no record of anyone calling me or this number. Seems like a dodgy scam to me. Ive reported it to the police and would recommend others do the same.

Upon doing so, I was greeted by a rather peculiar American voicemail stating, "You will be connected to the next available operator." Eventually, a lady with a distinct Geordie accent answered. She straightforwardly said "Hello" without any further context. When I inquired about her identity, she mentioned she was from First Utilities. I asked why she had reached out to me, and she explained it was regarding some new tariffs, as I am already one of their customers. Ultimately, it seems it was just a sales pitch on their part, although they do appear to be legitimate, albeit a bit lacking in communication skills. Interestingly, I also received an email from them today, so they might just be following up on that.

Got a call from 01915946545, a bloke with a Newcastle accent. He claimed he handled my gas and electric and said he'd email me info about my choices. Nothing he said really added up, seemed like he was in a hurry and then just hung up. Im with First Utility already, so I guess he was from them since he called me by name and had my landline.

I can't tell you how frustrated I am with the incessant calls I've been receiving from this number! It’s gotten to the point where I’ve had enough of these unwanted calls, so I thought I’d look it up online. I never pick up calls that I haven't requested, and to find out it’s First Utility, my energy provider, that’s behind this annoyance has really riled me up. I’m locked into a fixed rate deal with them until the 1st of July, but the moment that’s up, I’ll definitely be hunting for a new supplier now that I know they've handed my private number to a third party.

I've received numerous calls from this number lately. I picked up on a couple of occasions, but the line was just dead air. Today, they tried again, and it was more of the same-nothing but silence. Received a call from this number earlier today. They introduced themselves as being from First Utility, but it's not the number that's listed on any of my bills - so I'm a bit puzzled as to who exactly it was! They were keen to discuss renewing my electricity contract and even asked for the first line of my address. I felt quite uneasy and told them I wasn't comfortable sharing any information, then promptly ended the call. If they were genuinely from First Utility, I assumed they would already have my details on file, wouldn't they? Quite suspicious, to say the least!
