For the last week I've been getting nonstop calls on my mobile. I only share my digits with close family and mates, so I hoped it might be something urgent from someone I know. I called the number back but it just said ‘number not recognised’. One time they picked up, but what they said was mostly gibberish - I caught bits like ‘smart meter’. I ended up blocking the caller, but just a couple of days later, I started getting a barrage of calls from a Scottish number. It’s driving me mad!
