Got a call from a robotic woman saying she was calling from the Mastercard and Visa security team of my bank about a supposed £600 transfer overseas that happened 15 minutes ago. She told me to press 1 to cancel it. Pretty much a scam, right? Can you actually stop a transfer that fast once it’s gone through? I’m sure pressing 1 just dials some pricey premium number. I blocked it straight away. Heard this annoying recorded message has been floating around for years now.
