What a bizarre phone call! They were trying to lure me into settling a £99 bill. If I get another dodgy call from this number, I’ll definitely be reporting them to the ICO.

I reckon this was some sort of dodgy health scam. The caller had a strange accent and kept asking for my partner, who actually passed away last year. They also seemed to think Ivan was a lady’s name or something. I told them they had the wrong number before putting the phone down.

The phone rang for about a minute and I nearly picked up, but since the number was unfamiliar, I decided against it. Reading the comments here now, I'm really relieved I left it. I've gone ahead and blocked the number just to be safe.

Got a ring on my phone from an 074 number earlier. There was some automated voice about life insurance and how to save money, mentioning someone would get back in touch. I wasn’t able to respond but, foolishly, I took the first call. Shortly after, a call popped up from Sunderland with the number 01915804995. Didn't pick up, so not 100% sure, but I reckon it’s connected to the first one. Both numbers are blocked now, that's for sure.
